The Calendar Workshop

The Continuing Education Programmes (CEP) at NID integrates design knowledge and education with the varied segments of the industry, commerce and service sectors. The key focus of this programmes to give a basic exposure to design thinking, practice and understand how it could be a key differentiating factor in the industry with exposure to various aspects of design workshop help participants to develop a basic understanding of design thinking, design methods, user-centric design, collective idea generation methods and practice in a modern context and to give a hands-on experience on the various user understanding and collective idea generation methods practiced in the field of design. This workshop/ programme are generally about 3 to 5 days duration over the online, offline or hybrid mode depending on the prevailing pandemic situation. Workshops are designed especially for the professionals willing to learn and more skill in the field of design.

These focused design workshops are conducted at the lush-green campus of NID Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar / Bengaluru by the experienced faculty and other distinguished design professionals and experts.

NID conduct Summer Workshop every year during summer vacations. These workshops are meant for students, teachers, artisans, homemakers & professional who may or may not be associated to the subject. These workshops are intense and career oriented, anchored by the experienced faculty of NID and it introduces the design perspective coupled with the hands-on experiences to the participants
